Groupe Patrimoine manages several residences dedicated to the comfort and well-being of autonomous, semi-autonomous or non-autonomous seniors with cognitive and memory disorders. Participate in maintaining a quality living environment for residents:

Ensure the well-being and maintenance of residents’ capacities by making them actively participate in their care;
Take an interest in the lives of residents in order to get to know them better and support them;
Eating, playing, dancing, walking, gardening with the residents, all these activities will allow you to take an active part in their lives;
Participate in maintaining the cleanliness of households. With our approach, it is quite possible to do it in the company of residents who desire it in joy and good humor;

Collaborate with all members of the living environment and other professionals to maintain an adapted living environment:

Residents’ relatives play an important role in maintaining their well-being; integrating them into the accompaniment is a priority;
Whether with the resident’s loved ones or with the members of our various teams, you will have an educational role in the approach to the living environment;
Apply interventions recommended by nurses and members of the healthcare team;
If necessary, you will complete the incident and accident report and ensure that you comply with the standards and requirements of the residence.
Ensure the dignity of the person at all times

Discretion, respect and confidentiality will be at the heart of each of your actions;
The relatives of the residents will be a precious help to improve their life stories in order to improve your approach.
Act as a role model to other employees:

REQUIRED SKILLS

EPR in relation to completed beneficiary care or equivalent
2 years of experience in community care
Experience in a related position – an asset
Up-to-date cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training – an asset
Up-to-date Safe Movement of Beneficiaries (PDSB) Principles Training
Personal Assistance in a Private Residence for Seniors (AP-RPA) training or commitment to obtain training within one year of hiring
Bill 90, or commitment to complete training upon hiring (Paid by the employer)
Demonstrated experience in personnel management
Experience with an elderly clientele with memory problems
