Job summary:

He/she supervises and accompanies the entire work preparation phase of a team Works with the operator and the equipment controller, travel, Maintenance work and ensures compliance with all internal safety procedures and external applicable.

He/she authorizes the use and movement of equipment.

Description :

Occupational Health & Safety and Environment

He/she ensures the implementation of rules related to the method, equipment and management of rail traffic to support and develop the rail safety culture of workers.

Authorizes movements and operations (engine check list in pairs with the operator, 360° with signaller, verification of compliance with EQUANS and NouvLR processes (in particular GCFCC and lifting, QHSE audit, feedback and processing of Non-Compliance to the superintendent, reminder of training).
Fills in the documents necessary for the quality, safety and environment documentation relating to the task for which he/she is responsible (reports, audit sheets, non-conformity sheet, etc.) via the Kizéo digital tool or in writing .

In the event of a change in the Track Obtaining Permit (POV) or PPP, or in doubt following a degraded mode, incident or accident, he/she immediately informs his/her superiors as well as the EQUANS Catenary Supervisor in his/her area .
The Works Team Supervisor controls the execution of the work and has every right to stop the operations in progress if a deviation or breach relating to safety is detected.
In the event of a change in the work phases or the garage of the machinery, he/she organizes a break point with the team and the EQUANS works coordinator who decides on the organization of the works to be retained.

Quality Works

The Works Team Supervisor:

Supervises, controls and contributes to ensure the quality of the work;
Masters the work methods and ensures that the teams under his responsibility apply them;
Ensures that the controls are correctly carried out by the team leaders and that the quality records are established;
Ensures that the teams under his responsibility work with the correct revisions of the IFC Plans;
Reports non-conformities detected during the performance of the work and proposes corrective actions;
Applies all the principles and directives and uses all the rules for the installation and use of equipment to propose the most appropriate solutions for a given situation;
Ensures that its teams are in possession of the tools with their calibration if necessary, the protective equipment and the equipment necessary for the proper execution of the work before the start of the activity;

Identifies the difficulties of execution and safety for its activity and informs its teams, the works coordinator and participates in taking a step back;
Coordinates the progress of each of its teams by integrating the technical constraints of each operation;
Argues their point of view by diplomatically constituting and opposing arguments in daily or low-stakes arbitration situations;
Controls and validates the scores of the personnel and machines assigned to its teams and ensures their completeness;
Controls and validates the progress monitoring sheets and daily reports and ensures their completeness and reports the information to the quality manager.


At least 1 year of experience in the field of construction or signage;
Computer skills (Microsoft Office);
Mastery of the French language both orally and in writing (English optional);
Knowledge of construction project management and monitoring;
Be available on a rotating schedule (Monday to Sunday between 6:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. for a total of 40 hours per week);
Qualify for security investigations, according to the required level, required for access to secure sites;
Ready and able to travel to different sites.
