Clinique M is currently looking for a nursing assistant to help the nursing team in the morning for the blood collection clinic. This is a part-time position to mainly take the samples required by the customers of Clinique M and to do the medical transport of the samples (Maternity leave replacement).
As a nursing assistant, you will:
- Take blood samples by venipuncture according to a medical prescription;
- Stabilize blood samples and prepare them for medical transport;
- Carry out medical transport to the analysis laboratory as needed;
- Perform the various nursing tasks provided for in the company’s service offer (ECG, MAPA, blood pressure measurement, collaborate in vaccination, etc.);
- Provide vaccination assistance as needed;
- Perform any other task requested by his immediate superior.
As the ideal candidate, you possess :
- A diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in nursing;
- A license in good standing from the Order of Nurses and Auxiliary Nurses of Quebec (OIIAQ);
- Up-to-date CPR or advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ACLS) certification;
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;
- Training on the Quebec immunization program (PIQ) (asset);
- Skills for the management of computerized medical records;
- An excellent command of the spoken and written French language;
- An excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite;
