The Travel Booking Administrator will have the following responsibilities:
- Will enter the relevant information into our Events software and create an Event.
- Delegates will call, email or complete an online form created in Events as per the clients’ requirements and direction.
- Ensure all tools, equipment and material required are available in the work area
- Will handle the reservations, changes and cancellations up to the day of check-in.
- Will prepare rooming lists and work with the hotel to ensure all reservations are exact and add or release rooms as per the contract deadlines and client requirements.
- Prepare reports for clients and ensure their delegates are well serviced in securing their accommodation requirements for a seamless travel experience
The Travel Booking Administrator must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- 2 years minimum experience in customer service
- 6 months -1 year experience in similar role is considered an asset
- Must have strong communication skills
- Attention to detail is critical
- Professionally interact with clients and hotel contacts
- Outstanding communication
- Ability to multi-task
- Remain calm under pressure
- Adept at computer systems
- Problem solving
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment
- Meet deadlines with accuracy
