Responsibilities:

  • Review, investigate, report and take appropriate action with regards to OS&D, night operations reports
  • Ensure all priority alerts or specials are on-time
  • Trace shipments and provide verbal POD’s
  • Coordinate specials or samedays
  • Investigate and/or advise customer regarding OS&D shipments/undeliverable shipments
  • Maintain designated customer accounts
  • Knowledge of designated accounts, i.e. Product, customer expectations
  • Enter pickups and respond to customer inquiries via email or phone calls
  • Complete all OSD operations
  • Ensure freight is scanned accurately and daily.
  • Ensure freight is staged in appropriate area.
  • Ensure all unlabeled freight is reported daily – 12:00 (noon).
  • Ensure all damaged freight is inspected and processed.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient working area.
  • Ensure all freight is kept organized and easily accessible.
  • Investigate reported OS&D shipments across Canada using the following methods:
  • Check computer for information and/or special shipment instructions.
  • Find out if a sub has been cut and check for Proof of Delivery.
  • Find out if it is a duplicate.
  • Find out if the shipment is on a later flight or trailer using split shipment report.
  • Check original waybill for cubes or if account has specialist on site, consult on site.
  • Communicate the results of the investigation to the branches or daily agents
  • Any additional duties as required

Qualifications:


  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills in MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
