Marketing advisor (transfer of knowledge)

Lactanet is the main organization for improving dairy herds responsible for dairy control, genetic assessments, knowledge, transfer of knowledge and traceability of dairy cattle. We offer products and services to help Canadian farmers manage their dairy farm.

We are actively looking for an advisor (era) in the transfer of knowledge in order to develop and develop marketing and knowledge transfer strategies on products and services offered at LACTANET. The post holder will be responsible for working with content experts in order to carry out various projects and develop marketing tools related to their field of expertise. This person will be in charge of planning, coordination, execution and monitoring of knowledge transfer projects to the respective teams.

• Develop a marketing plan as well as the communication and knowledge transfer strategy
• Develop and execute appropriate communications and transfer tools at
• Collaborate with experts from the Innovation and Development Team (I&D), propose developing, planning and implementing marketing strategies and tools
• Responsible for the monthly newsletter sent to dairy producers and plan content in collaboration with experts
• Plan the key steps of each project/product by keeping a project management file up to date
• Monitor and achieve the objectives set by the company in connection with projects and products
• Remain on the lookout for new marketing strategies and tools and identify opportunities for Lactanet
• Write interviews with producers or industry partners
• Collaborate with partner organizations
• Support the I & D team and other colleagues on marketing methods and tools adapted to the needs

Qualifications and experience

• Baccalaureate in marketing, business administration, or any other relevant training;
• At least three (3) years of experience in a similar position (transfer of knowledge and/or product management);
• Excellent knowledge of French and English, written and spoken;
• Common sense of priorities, strong skills for written and oral communication and teamwork;
• Demonstrated skills in popularization, writing, planning and coordination;
• Leadership, meticulousness, ability to work in a dynamic environment and creative spirit;
• Developed knowledge of virtual communications tools and the Microsoft Office suite;
