Our client, a company working in the parapublic sector, is looking for a
Level 2 IT Technician for one of its establishments and residences on the island of Montreal.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support at 2 levels;
- Perform system tuning at the performance level;
- Collect computer performance data and send it to the manager for evaluation;
- Detect application performance problems and transmit them to the manager;
- Ensure that computer and telephone equipment is properly repaired;
- Install the various peripherals;
- Install software and its new versions; identify and correct errors in operating software;
- Update the computer access codes;
- Maintain the inventory of computer and telephone equipment and produce reports as needed;
- Ensure that the equipment, space and environment are adequate for the proper functioning of the systems;
- Develop and document operating tools and procedures common to all systems;
- Provide training for office automation users through information or training sessions or any other appropriate means;
- Apply the security policies of the various systems and ensure their compliance by users;
- To ensure the execution of any related activity that it is reasonably able to accomplish.

OUR REQUIREMENTS
- DEC in computer science
- 3 to 4 years of experience in the IT environment
- Very good knowledge of the management of office environments (Office Suite and associated tools)
- Good knowledge of network technologies in a Cisco environment and Knowledge of Linux and telephony
- Good knowledge of French, working knowledge of English
- Aptitude for customer service and teamwork
- Excellent communication skills
